 ایک نوجوان اپنی زندگی کے معاملات سے کافی پریشان تھا ۔

اک روزایک دروی  سے ملا قات ہو گئی تواپنا حال  کہہ سنایا ۔

کہنے لگا کہ بہت پریشان ہوں۔ یہ دکھ اور پریشانیاں اب میری برداشت ہے باہر ہیں ۔ لگتا ہے شائد میری موت ہی مجھے ان غموں سے نجات دلا سکتی ہے۔

درویش نے اس کی بات سنی اور کہا

 جاؤ اور نمک لے کر آؤ۔

نوجوان حیران تو ہوا کہ میری بات کا نمک سے کیا تعلق پر پھر بھی  لے آیا ۔

درویش نے کہا

پانی کے گلاس میں ایک مٹھی نمک ڈالو اور اسے پی لو۔

نوجوان نے ایسا ہی کیا تو درویش نے پوچھا :

اس کا ذائقہ کیسا لگا ؟

نوجوان تھوكتے ہوئے بولا

بہت ہی خراب، ایک دم کھارا

درویش مسکراتے ہوئے بولا

اب ایک مٹھی نمک لے کر میرے ساتھ اس سامنے والی جھیل تک چلو۔

صاف پانی سے بنی اس جھیل کے سامنے پہنچ کر درویش نے کہا

چلو اب اس مٹھی بھر نمک کو پانی میں ڈال دو اور پھر اس جھیل کا پانی پیو۔

نوجوان پانی پینے لگا، تو درویش نے پوچھا

 بتاؤ اس کا ذائقہ کیسا ہے، کیا اب بھی تمہیں یہ کھارا لگ رہا ہے ؟

نوجوان بولا

نہیں ، یہ تو میٹھا ہے۔ بہت اچھا ہے۔

درویش نوجوان کے پاس بیٹھ گیا اور اس کا ہاتھ تھامتے ہوئے بولا

ہمارے دکھ بالکل اسی نمک کی طرح ہیں ۔ جتنا نمک گلاس میں ڈالا تھا اتنا ہی جھیل میں ڈالا ہے۔ مگر گلاس کا پانی کڑوا ہو گیا اور جھیل کے پانی کو مٹھی بھر نمک سے کوئی فرق نہیں پڑا۔

 اسی طرح انسان بھی اپنے اپنے ظرف کے مطابق تکلیفوں کا ذائقہ محسوس کرتے ہیں۔

 جب تمھیں کوئی دکھ ملے تو خود کو بڑا کر لو، گلاس مت بنے رہو بلکہ جھیل بن جاؤ۔

اللہ تعالی کسی پر اس کی ہمت سے ذیادہ بوجھ نہیں ڈالتے۔   اس لئے ہمیں ہمیشہ یقین رکھنا چاہیے کہ جتنے بھی دکھ آئیں ہماری برداشت سے بڑھ کر نہیں ہوں گے۔
